This is an excellent career opportunity to be part of a Pain Management Service. The post could be developmental so may suit an experienced Band 5 physiotherapist; or an existing Band 6 Physiotherapist. MSK experience is essential. The post holder will be required to support the existing Band 7 and 6 staff in the development of physiotherapy within the hospital based clinical team comprising of Consultant Anaesthetists, Specialist Nurses, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and a Therapy Assistant. In addition, there is administrative support from secretaries and Health Care Assistants.

You will provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients with a wide range of chronic pain disorders, many of which have complex presentation. This will be competed in a multi-disciplinary approach, incorporating the services of consultant anaesthetists, specialist nurses, clinical psychologists and occupational therapists.
The Trust actively encourages personal development, you will be expected to engage in a supported supervision structure, incorporating reflective practice, clinical reasoning, skills development, as well as independent CPD. We can offer you teaching, supervision and supported development from our specialists, and our established team of advanced practitioners, as you work through your clinical competencies and objectives. As such you will be providing a local specialised, evidence based pain management service to the population of West Norfolk.
You will assist in the training, supervision and appraisal including both pre and post graduate physiotherapists. You will also take part in the weekend working as part of an agreed rota.
