An opportunity has arisen within the Respiratory Physiotherapy Outpatient Team for a Band 4 physiotherapy assistant. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, compassionate team member to work across our dynamic and forward thinking team.
The post will spread across Leamington Rehab Hospital and Stratford Hospital and the applicant will need to be able to travel between sites if necessary.
The successful candidate will be given responsibility to support a variety of rehabilitation and education classes, manage a caseload of appropriate patients with autonomy and guidance from qualified physiotherapists.
This role comprises of both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Previous experience in a Healthcare setting and access to a car with a full UK driving licence are essential.
South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust has a commitment to providing a seven day service and therefore there is a requirement to undertake weekend working.
The role of the Assistant Practitioner is to deliver a high quality, caring and compassionate patient care. The post holder will be undertake assessment, implementation and evaluation of patient care needs for a defined group of patients under the indirect supervision of a registered professional in their specialist area. The post holders are required to work as part of a team committed to delivering and improving a high standard of nursing care within South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust.
