Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HCPC Registered Physiotherapy Clinical Practice Educator. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge, excellent communications skills, have the ability to plan and organise their own time and a passion for teaching. Responsibilities include delivering training sessions, further developing our competency passport, and mentoring Physiotherapists. Previous teaching or training experience is an advantage. The post is mainly working with teams across ELHT sites and includes delivery of training and mentorship.
Working collaboratively with Clinical Service Leads and the Therapies Professional Development Lead responsible for development and delivery of a comprehensive training programme for clinical staff within the Therapies and IMPReS Directorates. This will mainly be for Band 5 and Band 6 staff initially.
Working collaboratively with clinical teams responsible for identifying the clinical training needs to support delivery of professional and clinical practice standards in line with agreed care pathways and clinical guidelines.
Responsible for the development, coordination and collation of training resources utilising sharepoint.
Using innovative solutions to the delivery of training which maximises workforce, system and technological resources.
Working with the Therapies Professional Development Lead to support the development and implementation of an overarching competency framework and associated clinical skills toolkit.
To inform development of the annual Training Needs Analysis and locally delivered therapy training plans and coordinate a robust response to the delivery of these training needs and evaluation of impact.
Support delivery of professional forums.
