Worley is currently recruiting a Piping Foreperson for a fixed term contract.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our offshore team on the Buzzard
Key Aims And Objectives
- To support overall delivery of company goals and schedule
- To deliver a high quality, consistent and competent Piping Supervisory construction service in accordance with project / company requirements, standards, and procedures
- To ensure all that all workscope is completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric, or environment.
- Supervision and co-ordination of pipefitters and materials
- To perform all required discipline tasks, safely, consistently and in accordance with project requirements, procedures, and specifications
Role Requirements
- Read, understand, and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, always ensuring that the piping/assembly workscope is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Complete all workscope in accordance with applicable workpacks / Jobcard instructions, associated procedures, and drawings / sketches.
- Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team.
- Raising applicable Permit to Work (PTW) to complete workscope in a controlled and safe manner.
- Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) to complete workscope in a safe and controlled manner.
Essential
All candidates should hold the following Qualifications & Certification:
- Minimum HNC in an Engineering related subject or Trade Apprenticeship with appropriate Technical Qualification
- Recognised Site discipline background
- Fully conversant with Project Management Systems with extensive knowledge of Construction / Completions / Commissioning practices and procedures
- IT Literate
- BOSIET / Approved Offshore Medical / CA EBS / MIST / Onshore Safety Passport (onshore roles only)
Desirable
- Degree educated in an Engineering related subject
- APM Level D qualification, or above
- Management NVQ level 4 / 5
- Conversant with Project tender / estimating process
Ideally, Candidates Will Also Have The Following Experience
- Demonstrable experience in similar role or Senior position in Construction
- Delivery focused with proven experience in achieving Project goals whilst maintaining high standards in HSEQ at all times
- Extensive knowledge of the Construction process, its implementation and management. Fully conversant with Project management tools
- Experienced in the production of detailed procedures / documents / reports
- Experienced in the management of personnel and all aspects of team working
- Extensive knowledge of O&G related HSEQ safe working practices / procedures
- Able to interface and interact with Management and Client representatives at all levels
- Detailed understanding of modern planning systems and their use in the execution of Construction as well as Project work scopes
- Detailed knowledge of the Construction process and associated systems as well as Permit to Work systems
