About The Role

Are you ready to take a leading role in shaping the success of our high‑value planned works programmes? We’re looking for an inspiring and driven Planned Works Manager to join our Warwickshire Living Places team to lead our teams, champion Zero Harm, and deliver excellent results across our extensive planned works portfolio.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment, builds strong relationships, and leads with confidence and collaboration.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading and inspiring Agents, Supervisors, direct delivery teams and SCPs
  • Championing Zero Harm, sustainability and safe working culture
  • Managing incident investigations and ensuring RAMs, SSOW and digital safety are in place
  • Driving subcontractor engagement and leading pre-starts
  • Delivering schemes safely, on time, on budget and to quality standards
  • Acting as the first escalation point for clients and supply chain partners
  • Integrating planning and site teams through strong short-term planning
  • Maintaining accurate and disciplined site records
  • Allocating resources, plant, access and logistics effectively
  • Overseeing site mobilisation, operational readiness and site setup
  • Producing phasing, sequencing and logistical construction plans
  • Setting and maintaining high quality standards with a Right First Time approach
  • Ensuring delivery aligns with design, works orders and contract requirements
  • Identifying lessons learned and implementing improvements
  • Applying modern methods of construction where beneficial
  • Making informed commercial decisions with clear understanding of supply chain scope and contracts
