About the Role
We are looking for a committed and quality-focused
Planning Co-ordinator to join our team in Bodmin. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient material flow into production, maintaining the highest standards of food safety, and supporting operational performance across the site.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for stock reconciliation of external storage locations
- Resolve discrepancies and carry out root cause analysis to improve processes
- Manual goods issue of deliveries from external warehouses
- Coordinate annual stock counts (audits) and obtain stock certificates for auditors
- Monitor stock balances against agreed tolerances and invoice losses as required
- Control movements between external and internal storage locations
- Maintain the Access Database, which feeds all planning tools and shift reports
- Ensure traceability of reworked stock
- Check warehouse invoices for accuracy
- Translate sales forecasts, production plans, and launch activity into material requirements
- Order appropriate quantities of feedstock, equipment, and packaging to meet demand in a cost-effective manner
- Manage inventory quantity and value, providing projections for stock holding
- Evaluate the impact of NPD (New Product Development) on inventory space and value requirements

- Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments
- Strong understanding of material planning and stock control
- Experience of stock control within the food industry
- Proven track record of effectively dealing with suppliers
- Ability to understand the application and suitability of materials ordered
- Understanding of individual customer requirements
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Commitment to food safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
