Plant Floor Support Technician

The Role:

The role of the Plant Floor Support Technician revolves around the support of hardware, applications and software at a manufacturing site.

You will work alongside senior resources within the team ensuring that applications are running to support the efficiency of the plant.

Please note this is a 24 hour rotating shift pattern onsite in Halewood.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience of 1st line IT support
• Ideally worked in a manufacturing/ production environment but not essential
• Basic Understanding of Microsoft applications/ software
• Excellent communication skills and proactive attitude
• Problem solving skills

This role requires shift pattern work - 40 hours Monday to Friday with three different shifts covering the 24 hours in a day. There will be an occasional requirement to work weekends.

This is a fast paced role where you will be required to move around the plant fixing issues as quickly as possible to minimize disruption.
