Mechanically biased PTE Technicians required to join a new team helping to effectively repair and manage on site owned plant tools and equipment for the MEH Alliance on site at Hinkley Point C. Overall responsibility for overseeing and completing service, inspection, repair, installation and testing of mechanical equipment. Suitable applicants must have:
- Knowledge of plant and equipment with a good understanding of maintaining, inspecting and servicing power tools, LEV equipment, generators, compressors, mobile plant and other mechanical plant
- Ability to carry out fault-finding diagnostics
- Understanding of LOLER and PUWER regulations
- Understanding of LEV, welding and general calibration data and procedures for survey equipment
- Computer/IT literate
Current rates are in line with ECSA Site Agreement as below.
Basic £27.17
OT1 £38.04
OT2 £48.91
Bonus Up to £2.72
Lodge Allowance: £50.81 per day (£355.67 per week)
Periodic Travel: Return Rail Fare & Travel Time
Holidays: 20 days plus publics
Required qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance, Vehicle Maintenance or Mechatronics
- CCNSG Safety Passport
