🚀 Hiring: PlateSpin SME – VMware On-Prem Migration

📍 Remote | ⏱ Immediate Start | 💼 Outside IR35 | 💷 Rate DOE

We’re looking for a PlateSpin Subject Matter Expert to support a critical migration programme moving workloads from on-prem VMware to new environment.

This is a hands-on contract role for someone who knows PlateSpin inside out and can own migrations end-to-end with minimal downtime.

🔧 What you’ll be doing

Acting as the PlateSpin SME for the project
Delivering P2V / V2V migrations using PlateSpin Migrate
Migrating VMware workloads into HPE GreenLake
Running test migrations, syncs, and final cutovers
Troubleshooting migration issues and optimising performance
Producing runbooks, documentation, and handover materials

✅ What we’re looking for

Strong, proven PlateSpin Migrate experience (SME level)
Solid VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter background
Experience delivering enterprise VM migration projects

Windows & Linux workload migration experience

Comfortable working remotely with distributed teams

➕ Nice to have

HPE GreenLake or hosted VMware platforms
Other migration tools (HCX, Zerto, Veeam)
RVTools / discovery & assessment experience
