The Platform Administrator will report directly to the Senior Team Leader within the Platform Administration team and contribute to the day-to-day administration processes relating to Morningstar Wealth Platform’s core product range including Pensions, ISAs and GIAs. The role will include a range of processes including payments, transfers and answering queries, both routine and complex. There will be opportunities to work on small sized projects from time to time.
The team will need to meet challenging deadlines and priorities dependent on business demands and periodic processes. The individual will have full accountability for processing client requests and escalation of issues to team management as and when needed.
The individual will be comfortable working independently, proactively and without constant supervision, while understanding the needs and expectations of the people they work with and the wider business teams.
Responsibilities
- Completion of daily administration tasks including (but not limited to) deposits, withdrawals, transfers, fee processes and account maintenance
- Dealing with and responding to routine and complex queries as allocated by Team leader
- Regular interaction and problem solving for Advisers and clients
- Identify and escalate client complaints or expression of dissatisfaction
- Writing Procedures and documenting processes
- Collaboration with other internal teams including Adviser Support, Onboarding, Investment Operations.
- Work with Quality Assurance team to ensure high levels of accuracy and ongoing excellence.
- Contribute positively to the adoption of central Morningstar initiatives eg. OKRs and goal setting
- Ad-hoc project work as directed
- Complete all mandatory training as requested by the business
Requirements
- A core knowledge and experience of working in the Financial Services industry and the associated products such as ISAs, GIAs and Pensions (essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (in particular, Excel)
- Experience of working on the following systems beneficial – Origo, Altus, Zendesk, JIRA
- Excellent communication & organisational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience in delivering good customer outcomes
- Desire to succeed and progress within the team and company
