THE ROLE

As a Platform Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in building the trading platform’s front-end architecture from the ground up. You’ll work alongside the founders and a trading specialist to create a scalable, cloud-native platform. This role is for someone who thrives in regulated environments

, has experience in financial systems, and wants to bring their expertise to a high-growth, stealth-mode startup.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

Technical tasks: Designing and implementing cloud-based trading infrastructure.
Collaboration: Working closely with the team to integrate AI/ML-driven insights and ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and user-friendly.
Innovation: Helping to define the technical roadmap and build a product that sets the standard for this niche trading.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful Platform Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

6+ years of experience
Experience in platform engineering for in trading systems
Proven track record in building trading systems or regulated financial platforms.
Strong Python skills
Experience with GCP (preferred), Kubernetes, Terraform, PostgreSQL, React, and TypeScript

Exposure to AI/ML is a massive plus as you’ll be working alongside a team that leverages data science to drive trading insights.

Entrepreneurial mindset: Someone who has transitioned from established companies to start ups and is eager to take on a new challenge.
