Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in a data-driven environment?

As a Platform Engineer in our Retail Technology team, you’ll be at the heart of delivering reliable, secure and high-performing data engineering services. You’ll work closely with product teams, third-party providers and internal stakeholders to ensure our platforms run smoothly and deliver great outcomes for our customers.

What you'll be doing:

• Monitoring and supporting environments to identify and resolve issues
• Managing incidents, problems, requests and changes across services
• Operating access control processes and managing joiners, movers and leavers
• Leading quality assurance and control activities across data services
• Building strong relationships with service providers and IT teams
• Identifying and mitigating risks through appropriate governance
• Reviewing system and process changes to assess customer impact
• Embedding fairness and value principles across our application estate
  
  

Who we're looking for:

• Knowledge of ITIL Framework, Agile product models and AWS
• Experience in IT Operations and first-line support for data services
• Familiarity with SQL, monitoring tools and ServiceNow
• Experience with data warehouses, ETL/ELT and streaming processes
• Strong documentation and process improvement skills
• Any experience with Access Management would be a huge plus!
