Platform Engineer (HFT)

A prominent crypto HFT firm are looking for a Platform Engineer to help manage and optimize a globally distributed, high-frequency platform. You’ll act as an infrastructure expert, driving performance improvements, collaborating with development teams, and supporting a 24x7 operation across multiple regions and cloud providers.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as an SME for Linux and network infrastructure, supporting high-frequency, multi-region operations.
• Proactively analyze and implement performance and process improvements across the platform.
• Collaborate with development and central infrastructure teams to enhance architecture and standardize best practices.
• Manage and optimize multi-cloud environments, evaluating new providers and improving internal processes.
• Provide production support during business hours and as part of an on-call rotation, with a focus on reducing manual intervention.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 6–8 years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with multi-cloud production environments.
• Strong Linux and network stack knowledge, with scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Experience or exposure to containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), monitoring tools (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK), IaC (Terraform/Ansible), and vendor management is a plus.
• Background in high-frequency, low-latency systems, or web scraping platforms is advantageous.
