The Role
The player-coach role takes a leadership approach that combines direct involvement in tasks with the responsibilities of guiding and mentoring the Sourcing team. It involves a hands-on style where the Player Coach will actively work alongside the team whilst providing direction, support, and coaching
You will work with the team to ensure an efficient and flexible support service is provided. You will be a point of contact to the team; dealing with queries relating to the sourcing function, taking responsibility for the resolution of those queries to a satisfactory conclusion and dealing with escalation of issues. You will also participate in sourcing activities and take ownership of your own list of requisitions. This role is a blend between a Team Lead and Principal Sourcing Specialist.
