About the Role:
As a Plumber, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of plumbing and drainage systems across our facilities. You will ensure all plumbing infrastructure operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulations to support the smooth running of the business.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plumbing systems including pipework, water supply, drainage, and heating systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in plumbing and drainage systems, including leaks, blockages, and equipment failures.
- Install new plumbing fixtures, pipework, and associated equipment according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Carry out modifications, upgrades, and improvements to existing plumbing and heating systems.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues and breakdowns to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
- Conduct testing, inspections, and condition monitoring of plumbing systems to ensure ongoing safety and reliability.
- Work collaboratively with other maintenance and engineering teams to support integrated facility management.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including maintenance logs, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior plumbers and apprentices when required.
What are we looking for:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a plumber, ideally in commercial or industrial settings.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, water supply, drainage, and heating systems.
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of relevant plumbing regulations and standards, including Water Regulations, Gas Safe (desirable), and Health & Safety.
- Experience with maintenance and repair of hot and cold water systems, sanitation, and drainage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
