PMO Consultant - Contract
Rate: £400-£420 per day Outside IR35
Duration: Until the end of 2026
We are seeking an experienced PMO Consultant to support a large-scale tax reform and compliance programme for one of our key clients. This is a long-term contract where you will take ownership of programme-level PMO responsibilities across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the programme PMO function across 4 workstreams.
Maintain governance structures, RAID logs, stage gate reviews, and reporting.
Drive efficiencies and ensure alignment across workstreams and dependencies.
Support onboarding, set up of PMO structure, and manage the finance PO process.
Automate and streamline processes wherever possible using low-code/no-code tools.
Work independently with minimal supervision, proactively identifying risks and issues.
Provide hands-on support and adapt to varying priorities as needed.
Key Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a PMO Consultant within large-scale programmes.
Background in tax, finance, or compliance projects is highly desirable.
Strong governance, reporting, and programme management skills.
Tech-savvy with experience leveraging low-code/no-code solutions for process automation.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and "roll sleeves up" when required.

Fully remote position.
