An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 Podiatrists to join the team.
We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual working at Band 5 to join our team
You will be required to provide assessment, treatment and interventions for our high risk caseload within Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, and will work with a range of clinics, hospital and health centres and homes across Torbay and South Devon.
As a Podiatrist you will be responsible for the management and treatment of a caseload of patients across a variety of locations within Torbay and South Devon area, providing a comprehensive assessment of podiatric need, relevant health education, planned podiatric care packages and referral to other health care professionals as required.
You Will Be
- committed to and undertake CPD, evidenced based practice and clinical rotation
- providing high standards of treatment and professionalism and to continue to develop a multi-disciplinary approach to patient car
Due to the role requirements, you must have the ability to travel around the Torbay and South Devon locality to undertake home visits.
You Will Have Clinical Responsibility For Delivering High Quality Care To a Caseload Across The Torbay And South Devon Area And Will Be Working Closely With Other Community Healthcare Workers And Provider Agencies Within a Variety Of Care Settings Including
- community clinics,
- domiciliary work,
- care homes and
- contribute to the development of the podiatry team
Working over 10 different locations, the podiatry department consists of 45 clinical comprising of Head of Service, Team Leads, Specialist podiatrists, podiatrists, assistant practitioners and clinical support staff . We also have 10 administrative staff.
