About This Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a small, friendly and dynamic team working on a diverse range of policy projects across the council. In this role, you will work with a range of staff and elected Members carrying out research and policy analysis, providing support to development of policy on key issues in Cumberland, supporting our elected Members in their Overview and Scrutiny role, and contributing to the Council�s engagement with the government and other partner organisations.

This role is available on a permanent basis. Although its full-time, part time and/or job share arrangements may be considered.

You may have just left university or college, or you may be new to local government, or have some experience. We are looking for individuals with skills and motivation.
