Porter | Maintenance/Customer Service | Slough | Competitive Pay - Full Time - 37.5 hrs per week
Spire Thames Valley Hospital in Slough has an opportunity for a Porter to join our team in a Full Time capacity. You will be part of a team that prides itself on providing exemplary service to our Patients, Visitors and Colleagues at all times.
Working patterns - 4 long days per week including every other weekend. Shift work so is a mix of days and late evenings.
Duties And Responsibilities
You will be working for the team responsible for the transportation of all patients, equipment, goods and waste throughout the hospital. This will involve plenty of customer service as you transport patients to and from their procedures, so great personal skills are necessary! You will transport medical gases, clinical waste and any equipment as required by the Manager. Full training is provided and you will be rewarded with great benefits.

Who We're Looking For
- Have excellent customer service and can provide a friendly ear to patients during what can sometimes be a particularly unsettling time, our team of Porters provide a vital service in our Hospital.
- You will need to be comfortable with the often physical nature of the role
- Someone who has the flexibility to work varying shift patterns on our rota
- Someone with experience in a similar role would be preferred
- Must be physically fit and active as this is a busy role
