Key Essential Skills:
- 3 years’ experience in a Portfolio Management Office (PMO) or Project Office role.
- Experience using Oracle, Anaplan, or similar enterprise financial systems.
- Exposure to data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau for reporting and dashboards.
- Strong financial and budget management expertise.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban), or a strong foundational understanding.
- Skilled in presenting and facilitating meetings across levels.
- Able to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment

Overview:
- We’re looking for a Portfolio Management Analyst to join our Technology Services team to support, enable and track the successful delivery of change and BAU portfolios, working closely with the Delivery, Engineering and Product teams. The successful candidate will ensure all aspects of the portfolio are effectively tracked and reported into various forums, including monthly steering committees and quarterly change reviews.
- In this role, you'll collaborate both with our immediate teams and the broader business, so we're looking for someone who is an outstanding communicator, someone who approaches their work with confidence, enthusiasm, and has a genuine passion for data, finance, and achieving results.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Finances - Oversee monthly reconciliation of Oracle and change actuals, partnering closely with Delivery Managers to align value stream financial spreadsheets. Proactively challenge and validate initiative forecasts and estimates at completion. Foster strong and consistent collaboration with our Finance Business Partner and FP&A team to ensure a clear understanding of the Corporate Reporting dashboard and Marketplace tool that provide actuals. Identify and monitor any unassigned costs or discrepancies in Oracle, working with Finance to allocate them to the correct cost centres. Maintain a comprehensive portfolio financial spreadsheet to provide clear visibility for Tech Services Leadership.
- Change Oversight – Awareness and understanding of all active change and BAU initiatives within the portfolio. Understand the wider Tech Services value stream, squad, and cost centre structure
- Resource Management - Track and report on resourcing views across the department and advise on over/under utilisation
- Portfolio Reporting - Ensure adherence to localised reporting cadence and standards. Develop and manage effective portfolio reporting, to enable effective data driven decisions/actions to be taken
- Continuous Improvement - Work as a trusted partner to the department to ensure the effective delivery and control of the portfolio, and to add value to processes and ways of working
