Your Impact
As a member of our Optimize Events team, based in one of our locations in Europe or North America, you will play a crucial role as part of the team in delivering a range of solutions for McKinsey’s in-person meetings and events. Our team is dedicated to creating purposeful, responsible, and collaborative experiences that meet the objectives of both McKinsey and event attendees. Our vision is to provide meaningful attendee experiences through strategic meeting expertise and unparalleled value, leveraging technology and our team of experts to bring event visions to life and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas.

You will act as a key liaison between platform owners and McKinsey from a user perspective, managing all internal processes related to "simple meetings," gathering user feedback to enhance the platform, and supporting outreach to venues for MSA or contract challenges. Your in-depth understanding of the platform’s scope, functionality, and intended use will make you the go-to resource for internal questions and support. You will attend progress review calls, consolidate reports with other Cvent data, and serve as the primary internal point of contact for inquiries.
Under the guidance of a Senior Portfolio Manager, you will collaborate with the events team and other department leaders to evaluate the program’s effectiveness and contribute to the global rollout of the "simple meetings" program. You will actively campaign and create awareness to drive firm-wide adoption, working with other Optimize departments on adoption, training, and requirements updates. Additionally, you will ensure that the platform and processes comply with the firm’s requirements.
