We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Power BI Admin.
The Power BI Admin will form part of the CSA Data Insight & Visualisation Team, joining a global team of data engineers, data visualization professional’s analysts from diverse backgrounds to develop visualisations of data products via custom dashboards and to support the monthly Cyber metrics reporting cycle, delivering timely and reliable Key Control Indicators (KCIs).
The Power BI Admin role will work closely with engineers within the CSA Data Insight & Visualisation Team. You will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing our Power BI environment, driving best practices, and supporting our analytics platform. There is ample room for growth in the role, with opportunities to develop skills across multiple domains, starting from a strong foundation in one or more core technical areas e.g. data visualisation and data engineering, for this role, cybersecurity-specific knowledge is preferred but not essential.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, an eagerness to learn, a keen interest in Cybersecurity, the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and an aptitude for picking up new tools and techniques on the job, building on existing skillsets as a foundation.

In This Role You Will
- Administer and optimize Power BI
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and fabric-cicd
- Manage permissions, security groups, and workspace access
- Monitor and optimize capacity using Fabric Capacity metrics
- Lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives, design and enact architectural design patterns, and drive adoption of best practices
- Stay current with new features, updates, and industry trends through blogs, conferences, and user groups
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Knowledge of Activity Logs and Log Analytics for auditing and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of Power BI/Fabric REST APIs
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or similar preferred
- Experience in creation of architectural artifacts and designs
- Strong experience in design and implementation of projects on Power BI (Including dashboards, gateways, capacities, licensing, integrations)
- Strong technical skills, an eagerness to learn, a keen interest in Cybersecurity and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
This role is based in Birmingham, Sheffield can also be considered.
