Join Aston Martin as an Expert in North American Powertrain Legislation and Certification and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our iconic performance cars.
Based at our Gaydon headquarters, you will lead certification activities for the US, Canada and associated territories, ensuring our powertrains meet the most demanding tailpipe and evaporative emissions, fuel economy and compliance standards. As the company’s subject matter expert, you’ll provide guidance on regulatory requirements, oversee testing programmes, and collaborate with global stakeholders to secure market access for current and future model years.
We’re seeking a proven specialist with deep knowledge of North American emissions and certification frameworks (EPA, CARB, NHTSA, Environment Canada), alongside hands-on experience in powertrain testing and compliance. You’ll be confident engaging with regulators and industry partners, adept at managing complex projects, and motivated by the challenge of bringing cutting-edge propulsion technologies to market. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is essential, and a master’s is preferred.
In return, you’ll join a high-visibility team at the heart of Aston Martin’s global strategy, working across combustion, hybrid and electric platforms. This is a unique opportunity to influence our future product range while developing your expertise within a world-renowned brand. The role offers a hybrid working model, with time split between our Gaydon headquarters, remote work, and test facilities. Travel within the UK and internationally is expected.
If you’re ready to take on a leadership role in shaping the next generation of performance vehicles, we’d love to hear from you.
