We’re looking for a sharp, proactive Senior Account Executive who thrives on building journalist relationships, relentlessly hunting down coverage, and ensuring our clients’ stories cut through the noise in top-tier media.

About the Role

As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll be at the front line of media relations: tracking news cycles, seizing reactive opportunities, and placing our clients at the heart of industry conversations. You’ll combine sharp media instincts with a tenacity for pitching, ensuring client stories land in the outlets that matter most. Working closely with Account Managers and Directors, you’ll be an essential part of the team driving media impact and measurable results.

This is a hybrid role, based in London or Tunbridge Wells, and home.

Your role:

• Hunt down opportunities to secure high-quality media coverage across top-tier, trade, and specialist outlets
• Build and sustain strong journalist and analyst relationships that position you as a go-to contact
• Proactively pitch client stories with flair, persistence, and impact
• Draft sharp press materials – releases, pitches, bylines, and commentary
• Track and analyse coverage, delivering actionable insights through reporting tools like Meltwater and Onclusive
• Stay alert to breaking news, media trends, and newsjacking opportunities to place clients at the centre of the story
• Contribute to account planning, media strategy, and brainstorming sessions with a constant eye for coverage angles
• Support the commercial success of accounts by managing time effectively and adding value wherever possible

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of PR experience (agency-side preferred), ideally with strong B2B credentials
• Proven track record of securing coverage and cultivating journalist relationships
• A nose for news, with a genuine hunger to spot, shape, and seize opportunities
• Excellent writing, organisational, and communication skills
• A strong interest in current affairs, industry news, and media landscapes
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• A proactive, solutions-driven approach – and true enthusiasm for media relations
• Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, hybrid agency environment
