Job Title: Practice Manager | GP Practice
Location: Golders Green Diagnostics & Outpatients Centre
Permanent, Full time – 37.5 hours per week
Office based Monday to Friday
Salary: Competitive.
We’re looking for a Practice Manager to join our GP team based at Golders Green Diagnostics & Outpatients Centre. The practice is specifically looking for someone who is hands-on, patient-facing, and comes from a private practice PA background. As a vital part of our team, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy practice, manage a team of medical secretaries and collaborate with two Consultants.

What You’ll Do
- Operational Management: Oversee clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflows and smooth coordination across teams.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team, promoting a positive work culture and fostering professional growth.
- Patient Care: Ensure high-quality, compassionate care and a seamless patient experience from start to finish.
- Compliance & Quality: Maintain regulatory compliance, implement quality assurance programs, and manage clinic systems to ensure excellence in patient services.
- Financial Oversight of the clinic.
- Must have prior experience as a Personal Assistant in a Private Healthcare setting.
- Please note: applicants with only NHS experience will not be suitable, as private healthcare experience is essential.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills with a proven ability to manage a diverse team and drive operational success.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, medical office operations, and patient care.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in using hospital or clinical IT systems.
- Several years of experience within people management is highly desirable.
