Description

PRE-CONSTRUCTION & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

ROLES AND RESPONSABILITIES:

Perform market research;
Communicate organisation’s products and services;
Contract review and negotiation;
Prepare and manage the proposals from inception through to tender award and contract close;
Define the technical specifications of the proposals, taking into account client and Martifer requirements;
Promote the integration of ecological and sustainable principles and materials when preparing new proposals;
Ensuring the efficient transition from business proposal to the Project Management Department;
Promote Business Development and develop a plan that meets the company goals and objectives;
Contributing to the definition of Business Continuous Plan.

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree or equivalent experience in construction, engineering or a related discipline;
English level needed is typically B2 (Intermediate) or above;
Proven experience in a pre-construction, bid management or development role within the UK construction market;

Competence in use of industry-standard tools including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD;

Strong client-facing and communication skills;

Good knowledge of procurement routes and supply chains;

Strong understanding of steelwork, facade aluminium and glazing work and/or complex building and infrastructure projects;

Sound commercial awareness, including cost planning, risk management and contract fundamentals.
