Pre-Packing Senior Pharmacy Technician: Band 5
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team as a
Senior Pharmacy Technician at the Pre-Packing Unit (PSU) located within
Whipps Cross Hospital, part of the
Pharmacy Technical Services (PTS).
PTS is a licensed manufacturing unit with three sites:
Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel,
St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, and
Whipps Cross Hospital.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all operational activities within the Pre-Packing area at Whipps Cross Hospital. This includes assisting with scheduling and planning of materials management, GMP inspection and labelling, assembly, repacking, and overall materials management. The post holder will also be tasked with ensuring that all work is scheduled, and documentation is kept current and updated in a timely manner, in compliance with MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) audits and internal reviews.
