The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Premium Finance Administrator to join our central services Finance Team based in Retford for a
fixed term basis of 6 months.
This role would suit a person who is confident and with
prior knowledge of Applied Epic. Will be a natural problem solver with a high level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills both verbal and written. As the business goes through an exciting growth period, there will be many opportunities to get involved in other exciting projects.
The role attracts a salary of £24,547 with the opportunity to work hybrid after training, hours are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
Location: Based near Retford Train Station, means there are great transports links should you wish to travel by train, car, or bus. We also have free car parking at the office.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You will be using our client broking systems called Applied Epic
- You will be responsible for investigating and reconciling historical remittances
- Answering queries and providing signposting to internal broking teams
- Liaising with and providing support to key stakeholders around ongoing loan applications
- You will be responsible for investigating problematic agreements and processing communications to and from the loan provider
- Responsible for logging any Breaches and upkeeping audit logs
- You will be dealing with any email or telephone queries from the Finance Team and wider business
Experience
- Prior knowledge of Applied Epic is highly desirable
- Proven Excel skills and knowledge
- Naturally keen to learn and progress, confident and passionate about accounts
- Understanding and comfortable with dealing with financial terms and research
- You will have a positive ‘can do attitude’ and will be a natural problem solver, along with a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Self-motivated with a high attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines, under pressure
- You will be able to work as part of a team collaboratively as well as on your own initiative
