About The Team
As a Presales Consultant you will become part of the EMEA Presales team being built up to strengthen our capability to support our many ongoing sales opportunities. You will work alongside the Sales Executives/Account Executives to provide required software solutions expertise in all phases of the sales process, from first contact with a lead to the conversion of such lead to an active customer. And you will be cooperating closely with, in addition to the Sales Team also the Product Managers, the Professional Services Teams and also the Marketing Team.
About the Position A Presales Consultant will be an integral part in our sales processes supporting the Sales Team members with product and solution expertise in a highly customer facing role with the clear goal to ensure we reach and maintain the highest possible rate for converting our leads and opportunities to successful wins and customers of Solifi.
The geographical scope of the role is the EMEA region, with main focus on UK and mainland Europe and you will be working in a highly international environment. This role can be based from London, Milton Keynes or UK remote.
Role and Responsibilities A Presales Consultants role and responsibilities include items such as:
Lead engagements with new opportunities identifying and articulating customer challenges and opportunities and mapping our solutions and services to help create clear, differentiated, value propositions to ensure we convert the opportunities to new sales
Support sales opportunities being engaged from qualification to closure by joining sales meetings, presenting our solutions and services, manage (plan, execute and follow-up) demos and workshops engaging with relevant experts from the organisation to provide detail knowledge and skills for every step of the sales process
Support sales team in internal opportunity/account reviews
Be the interface between Clients, Sales and Product with a clearly defined responsibility to interpret, articulate, organise and prioritise market requirements and ensure they are followed through and realised in related product roadmaps.
Increase the precision in what we include in our offers to clients, to ensure we include as well as exclude the relevant solutions and services in each offer to make it ‘easy and natural’ to buy from us.
Respond to functional and technical sections in the completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
About You
Proven work experience in Presales or a highly customer facing role supporting Sales and/or Product Implementations with responsibilities including product demonstrations, product training, Business Analyst/Business Solutions Consultant/Business Solutions Architect activities, with a focus on customer value. Additional capabilities of importance include: Having a good understanding within the Secured Finance space (e.g. Auto Finance, Equipment Finance, Working Capital) Having worked on internal business process, such as providing input to the documentation of required Presales activities in the process of converting opportunities to closed deals Proven ability to take on the role of being a manager of a bid team (a.k.a. project management) through the bid process of RFIs/RFPs Strong ability to understand our product suites to be able to articulate to the potential client business values and value drivers relevant to the client’s unique and individual circumstances, business processes, challenges and opportunities Experience in supporting marketing activities in all aspects; provide and review content for various campaigns and events, participate in events, provide input to strategic marketing initiatives (e.g. new geographical or product markets to be entered into). Proven ability to joggle multiple ongoing sales opportunity projects at any time varying hugely in complexity, size and time-span and work effectively in team environments with strong cross channel collaboration skill. Preferred (but not required) system knowledge and skills in the tools we use, e.g. Salesforce, PowerBI, Loopio, Confluence, Consensus and the standard MS Office Suite.
