Oracle Presales/Solution Lead - Public Sector & Central Government (UK)
Location: UK-based (with travel as required)
The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Oracle Presales/Solution Lead to join our growing UK team, with a dedicated focus on the Public Sector and Central Government. This pivotal role requires a unique blend of deep Oracle solution expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a strong background in management consulting. You'll be instrumental in shaping winning proposals, designing transformative solutions, and guiding our clients through complex digital journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Presales Engagements: Drive end-to-end presales cycles for Oracle Cloud solutions (ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM, CX) tailored for Public Sector and Central Government clients.
- Solution Design & Architecture: Translate complex public sector requirements into compelling, fit-for-purpose Oracle Cloud solutions, including technical architecture and integration strategies.
- Customer Engagement & Advisory: Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, conduct discovery workshops, understand client challenges, and articulate Mastek's value proposition effectively.
- Proposal & Presentation Development: Create high-quality, persuasive proposals, responses to ITTs/RFPs, and deliver impactful presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Market & Competitive Insight: Maintain an acute understanding of the UK Public Sector's digital agenda, procurement frameworks, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDS standards, specific compliance).
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to Mastek's public sector strategy, develop solution assets, and represent Mastek at industry events.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Mastek's delivery teams, Oracle's sales and solution architects, and other ecosystem partners to ensure seamless client transitions from presales to delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven Experience: 7+ years of experience in Oracle ERP/Cloud solutions, with a significant portion in a presales, solution architect, or management consulting role.
- Public Sector Focus: Demonstrable experience working with UK Public Sector and Central Government customers, understanding their unique procurement processes, governance, and operating models.
- Oracle Cloud Expertise: Strong functional and architectural knowledge across multiple Oracle Cloud pillars (e.g., Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM) is essential.
- Management Consulting Acumen: Proven ability to analyze complex organizational challenges, synthesize information, and structure compelling arguments and solutions.
- Critical Thinking: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex requirements and formulate innovative, strategic solutions.
- Communication Mastery:
- Strong Written Skills: Ability to craft clear, concise, persuasive, and grammatically impeccable proposals and documents.
- Strong Verbal Skills: Excellent presentation, storytelling, and interpersonal skills to engage diverse audiences, from technical teams to C-level executives.
- Language: Native or near-native English language proficiency (both written and verbal) is required.
