Pricing Reporting Analyst

Role Description

Allianz have a new opportunity for a Pricing Reporting Analyst in a Pricing Reporting team. This will be a hybrid position and can be worked from our offices in London, Birmingham and Bournemouth.

As a Pricing Reporting Analyst in the Pricing Reporting Team, you will be at the forefront of decision making; carrying out analysis and making recommendations to stakeholders to improve the pricing and products we offer to our customers and brokers.

Salary Information

Pay: Circa £36,000 per year.

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

About You

Your role will vary day to day, but here is a bit of what you can expect:

• Use data analysis to understand product performance, identify emerging trends, and clearly communicate insights to stakeholders and trading teams to inform strategy.

Support pricing and underwriting by reviewing key monitors and escalating notable points or changes in trends to ensure effective decision‑making.

Co-ordinating key outputs from Pricing & Underwriting and Trading groups which need to be produced on a regular basis to ensure consistency.

Continually looking to improve data, processes and reporting by providing a consistent view.

Getting hands-on with data from its source right through to analysis and reporting, choosing the right software tool for the job, including Databricks (SQL and Python) and from time-to-time Willis Towers Watson software tools Radar Optimiser, Radar Live, and Emblem

Essential Skills

We don't expect you to know everything from day one, but the following will enable you to hit the ground running:

• Able to deliver clear reports and present complex insights to diverse stakeholders and leadership, supporting informed decision‑making.
• Experienced in working across departments—such as claims, trading teams —to gather data and embed insights into key business functions.
• Proven experience in working with large data sources and a good command of Python, SQL, or similar coding languages.

Experience of Data Bricks or other dashboard reporting tools.

Desirable Skills

• Understanding of market dynamics, industry-specific data and experience of using data analysis to support trading decisions.
• Ideally you will hold a STEM degree.
• Knowledge of Willis Towers Watson software suite mainly focused on Radar and Emblem.
