Position Overview

We are building next-generation AI Agents for the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. Our mission is to reinvent how global brands innovate, optimize marketing, and manage supply chains through enterprise-grade AI and automation.

We are looking for an Engineering Leader to partner with our Data Science and Product leaders, driving the technical strategy, architecture, and scalability of our platform. This role requires someone who can balance hands-on technical depth with strategic leadership, ensuring we deliver a secure, reliable, and future-ready product.

Responsibilities

• Technology Strategy & Architecture
• Define and own the technical architecture across pods (Digital Commerce, RTM, Firefly, Supply Chain).
• Ensure solutions are scalable, modular, and enterprise-ready.
• Introduce industry best practices in microservices, event-driven systems, API-first development, and cloud-native design.
• Engineering Leadership
• Lead, mentor, and scale engineering teams across pods.
• Build a culture of engineering excellence, code quality, security, and automation.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and GenAI/Data Science leaders to translate business vision into technical delivery.
• Scalability & Reliability
• Implement frameworks for CI/CD, testing, observability, and MLOps integration.
• Ensure systems meet performance, uptime, and data security standards required by global CPG enterprises.
• Plan for multi-market, multi-category deployments.
• Long-term Productization
• Create a 5-year technical roadmap to evolve prototypes into scalable enterprise SaaS.
• Drive cloud cost optimization, vendor selection, and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Future-proof the platform by adopting emerging engineering patterns.
• Stakeholder Management
• Represent engineering in leadership discussions with founders, clients, and investors.
• Communicate trade-offs, risks, and architecture decisions clearly to business stakeholders.

• Visionary Builder: Can design a platform that scales across categories, geographies, and data ecosystems.
• Technical Depth: Hands-on knowledge of cloud-native engineering, distributed systems, and integration frameworks.
• Execution Excellence: Track record of delivering SaaS or AI-driven products at scale.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and build engineering culture.
• Innovation: Constantly driving adoption of modern engineering practices and tools.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 12+ years in engineering, with at least 5 years in engineering leadership roles.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices.
• Strong programming background in Python, Node.js, Java, or Go.
• Familiarity with data-intensive applications (streaming, APIs, ETL, data warehouses, event-driven systems).
• Experience in enterprise SaaS, AI/ML integration, or analytics platforms.
• Deep knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and security best practices.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MS preferred).
