The Role
As a
Principal Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and delivering CMO-level marketing academies for our clients. You will lead large-scale B2B learning engagements, from competency mapping and curriculum design to the facilitation of executive-level workshops and capability assessments. You will work closely with CMOs and senior marketing leaders to shape their teams’ skills, drive marketing transformation, and embed best-in-class marketing practices.
You will leverage MomentumABM's proprietary research, frameworks, and tools to deliver impactful learning and consulting programs that elevate marketing organizations and drive measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Learning & Capability Building
- Lead the design and delivery of CMO-level marketing academies for enterprise clients, including competency mapping, curriculum development, and learning path creation.
- Facilitate large-scale B2B learning engagements, workshops, and executive sessions for senior marketing audiences
- Assess client marketing teams’ capabilities, identify skill gaps, and develop tailored learning interventions to drive transformation
- Develop and refine learning content, frameworks, and IP to ensure our academies are industry-leading and innovative
- Guide clients through the process of embedding new competencies, measurement frameworks, and ways of working
Consulting & Advisory
- Serve as a trusted advisor to CMOs and senior marketing leaders, providing strategic guidance on marketing transformation, capability development, and organizational alignment.
- Lead consulting engagements focused on marketing effectiveness, talent development, and change management
- Apply critical thinking to solve complex client challenges and deliver actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and knowledge transfer.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain senior client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnership
- Elevate client interactions by leading with authority, clarity, and impact
- Proactively identify opportunities to expand client engagements and contribute to proposal development
Thought Leadership & Market Presence
- Act as an internal and external SME on B2B marketing capability building and learning
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership, including blogs, webinars, events, and industry presentations
- Represent MomentumABM at client and industry events as an influential speaker and thinker
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in B2B marketing, marketing consultancy, or learning and development, with a strong focus on capability building and transformation at the CMO or senior leadership level.
- Demonstrable experience in designing and delivering large-scale learning programs, academies, or capability assessments for marketing organizations.
- Proven track record of consulting with senior marketing leaders and driving organizational change.
- Experience with competency frameworks, curriculum design, and executive facilitation.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- High commercial acumen, emotional intelligence, and exceptional communication skills.
Salary
£110,000 - £130,000 Depending on experience
