Technology Strategy & Advisory Capability
Within Technology Strategy & Advisory, we help executives plot their technology evolution in line with their business goals. Regardless of what stage in their journey, we can assist with technology strategy, roadmaps and solutions.
The Role
As part of the Technology Strategy Team we’re looking for individuals that can work with our clients effectively across one or more of the following areas;
- Enterprise Architecture – your experience of TOGAF and/or O-AA will place you in good stead to work with our clients to map their business and product strategy to their existing capabilities and technology estate, advising where there are gaps and requirements to uplift or retire components. You might also need to advise on technology governance improvements to help our clients make effective decisions at pace. You’ll also have experience using EA tools, such as Ardoq, LeanIX, BizzDesign or Orbus.
- Technology Modernisation – Many of our clients are at various stages of their journey from legacy to modern technology stacks. That’s where you can help, establishing a clear strategy and roadmap regardless of their current maturity and outline how AI can accelerate that journey.
- Technology Platforms – using your knowledge and experience of multiple vendors and platforms, you’ll be able to map our clients’ capability needs to select the best fit vendors, solutions and platforms.
- Case for change – you'll work alongside our Business Strategy consultants building the case for change and assisting in developing investment models demonstrating clear ROI, presenting these to our C-level stakeholders.

- Ensures consensus across client and Slalom team members.
- Contributes across the Slalom communities.
- Mentor others in areas of expertise.
- Proactively identify opportunities within Slalom operating environments and/or areas of expertise.
What You Will Bring
- Must have a strong consulting background with extensive experience delivering enterprise or solution architecture services in client-facing environments.
- A great communicator, able to build rapport quickly through authenticity and a confident, clear presenter able to communicate complex technical concepts to senior stakeholder audiences.
- Foundational leadership skills; has begun forming and leading engagement teams.
- Comfortable leading the technical solution shaping as part of business development.
- Recognised by colleagues and peers for expertise in a given domain(s), with a demonstrable progression path from development to architecture.
