The role involves end-to-end accountability for data architecture across the organization, ensuring the effective collection, structuring, and use of data in alignment with established principles and standards. This includes managing large datasets across operational systems and data lakes while defining and upholding enterprise-wide data modeling standards.
The role also entails equipping client teams to adopt these designs, documenting and governing architectural artifacts (e.g., blueprints, principles, procedures), and ensuring compliance with data privacy, security, and governance policies, as well as broader regulatory and risk frameworks.
You should have:
- Expertise in data architecture, with substantial experience leading large-scale enterprise data migration projects.
- Proficiency with Azure cloud platform, Databricks, and data lake architectures.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven experience managing relationships with diverse stakeholders, communicating complex data concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Data Governance and Compliance: Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance requirements, with experience enforcing standards in a regulated environment.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to work across multiple projects, manage timelines, and produce high-quality deliverables.
