What We’re Looking For

  • ERP Expertise: Strong experience with Oracle (or SAP/Workday) training delivery in large transformation programmes.
  • Strategic Mindset: You are able to define go-to-market training strategies and design training programmes to maximise value from system implementations.
  • Instructional Authority: You know how to apply adult learning principles, develop engaging multi-format content, and deliver across formats.
  • Clearance-Ready: You must be eligible for SC Clearance (UK resident for the last 2 years).

Principal Oracle Training Consultant

Job Description

You'll be helping our largest clients define their training strategies and plans, while also enhancing training delivery capability in practice.

  • Training Strategy: Designing and implementing a robust training strategy aligned with transformation goals.
  • Training Needs Analysis (TNA): Conducting persona-led analysis, based on the Change impact assessment, to identify and address skill gaps.
  • Training Plan & Curriculum: Developing a comprehensive training plan and curriculum tailored to diverse user groups.
  • Training Materials: Overseeing the creation of engaging, role-specific training content of different types (as identified by TNA).
  • Training Delivery: Managing delivery across virtual, in-person, simulations, drop-in and other formats for varied audiences (train-the-trainer, frequent user training, end user training).
  • Scaling & Evaluation: Ensuring scalable training solutions and evaluate effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership: Leading a cross-functional training team, fostering collaboration and excellence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Creating and maintaining high standards in training content and delivery.
  • Ongoing Learning: Supporting transition to Managed services business-as-usual learning and knowledge retention.

Qualifications

You will have customer-facing expertise in the following areas:

  • Experience leading training programmes for large ERP transformation platforms, ideally Oracle (SAP or Workday acceptable)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Instructional design / training professional certifications (CPTD, APTD, CELP or equivalent) is a plus
  • Proven expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and digital learning tools.
