Are you an experienced legal professional ready to take the lead on complex contentious matters? We’re looking for a Principal Solicitor to provide expert advice and representation across a wide range of areas including licensing, environmental health, housing, debt recovery, judicial review, and litigation.
You’ll play a key role in shaping legal governance, mentoring a talented team, and ensuring robust decision-making across the organisation. This is an opportunity to work at the heart of public law, influencing policy and delivering high-quality legal services.
What we’re looking for:
✔ Fully qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive
✔ Strong experience in contentious matters within local government
✔ Ability to manage complex caseloads and lead on strategic legal issues
Salary: £55,614–£62,552 per annum
Contract: Full-time | Hybrid
