Principal Solution Architect
We’re looking for a Solution Architect to lead the design and evolution of scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions across our product suite. This is a senior, business-impacting role focused on customer-facing systems and aligning technical solutions with business needs. You’ll report to the Director of Product and Technology and collaborate across teams to shape the future of our architecture.

We’re looking for a Solution Architect to lead the design and evolution of scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions across our product suite. This is a senior, business-impacting role focused on customer-facing systems and aligning technical solutions with business needs. You’ll report to the Director of Product and Technology and collaborate across teams to shape the future of our architecture.
Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
- Lead the design and oversight of end-to-end technical architectures across platforms and environments.
- Define and evolve cloud-based architectures for scalable APIs, data platforms, and service integrations.
- Design robust data flows, storage models, and integration patterns.
- Champion high standards in performance, availability, and security across systems.
- Guide best practices in microservices, API architecture, and integration strategies.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to implement automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Ensure architectural governance, technical standards, and compliance are maintained across environments.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Drive our technical strategy and the evaluation of new tools and platforms.
- Lead high-impact initiatives that drive innovation and long-term product success.
- Own and maintain a roadmap of approved software products and drive product change.
- Leadership & Mentorship
- Act as a trusted technical leader and mentor within the engineering function.
- Support development teams in design decisions, troubleshooting, and architecture reviews.
- Line manage and support a Product Specialist, contributing to solution packaging and internal tooling.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in solution architecture or senior software architecture roles.
- Proven ability to solve complex business problems with use data and software
- A passion for learning new things and new challenges
- Proven expertise in designing cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, data integration, and modern software design patterns.
- Solid experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with data pipelines, storage solutions, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong knowledge of security, identity management, and networking principles.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., C#, Python, Java, or JavaScript/Node.js).
- Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and infrastructure automation tools.
- Industry certifications or demonstrable expertise in cloud architecture are a plus.
- Drive the architectural direction of next-edge cloud-based products.
- Play a key role in transforming how we build and deliver customer-facing solutions.
