Principle Planning Lawyer

LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority Shared Service based in Cambridgeshire, for a principal planning lawyer to join them on a permanent basis.

You will advise client organisations in planning, development and highways matters, attending courts and tribunals as necessary and undertaking your own advocacy. As principal, this role also includes supervising other members of the team in a line management capacity, monitoring team performance, caseloads and development.

Previous UK local government experience is essential.

To apply you will be:

• An England and Wales qualified solicitor, barrister, or chartered legal executive
• Able to demonstrate previous experience of handling a caseload of planning and highways matters
• Able to attend the office in Cambridgeshire at least 2 days per week

The salary for this role is £60,600 - £75,200 per annum, including a management allowance.
