Job Title: Solicitor / Qualified CILEX – Probate Department (Hybrid Working Available)

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience

About the Role

An established, multi-office law firm in the North West is seeking a Solicitor or Qualified CILEX to join its Probate Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced private client practitioner who enjoys building relationships and providing high-quality, compassionate legal advice.

You’ll manage your own caseload, working on a variety of matters including:

Drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney
Probate applications and estate administration
Advising clients on inheritance issues and the Mental Capacity Act
Meeting clients in the office, at home, or in care settings when required

About You

The successful candidate will have:

At least 3 years’ experience in wills, probate, and lasting powers of attorney
Strong technical knowledge and a client-focused approach
Excellent communication and organisational skills
The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
Competence in using modern case management and IT systems

A sound understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and empathy when dealing with elderly or bereaved clients are essential.
