Job Title: Private Client Solicitor

Overview

An established and well-regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, collaborative environment handling high-quality private client matters while developing long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Managing a varied caseload of Private Client matters, including:
Wills and Trusts
Probate and Estate Administration
Lasting Powers of Attorney
Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning
Taking client instructions and providing clear, accurate legal advice
Drafting legal documents and correspondence
Managing files from instruction through to completion
Maintaining excellent client care and professional standards
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
Participating in business development and networking activities

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with 2–5+ years PQE in Private Client

Strong technical knowledge of Private Client law

Ability to manage a caseload independently

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Client-focused and commercially aware

STEP qualification or working towards STEP (desirable, not essential)
