Personal Tax Manager to join our high-performing Tax team in our Cardiff Office. This is your chance to be part of a

What’s the Role About?
As our
Personal Tax Manager, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, taking the lead on complex returns, reviewing junior-prepared work, and supporting clients with both compliance and advisory needs. You’ll also play a key role in training and mentoring junior team members, while having the opportunity to broaden your skillset across corporation tax and other specialist areas like CGT, IHT, trusts, and estates.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
✅ Preparing complex personal tax returns and reviewing simpler returns prepared by junior staff.
✅ Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring deadlines are met and delivering outstanding client service.
✅ Assisting junior team members with training and technical queries.
✅ Identifying advisory opportunities and referring them to the specialist advisory team.
✅ Supporting with corporation tax compliance as required.
✅ Contributing to a wide range of ad-hoc advisory work, including residency and domicile issues, property-related tax matters, and trust & estate planning.
What We’re Looking For
You’re a seasoned tax professional,
ATT and CTA qualified, with strong technical knowledge and proven experience managing large compliance portfolios. You have excellent communication skills, experience with both personal and
corporation tax compliance, and ideally, you’ve worked with
non-dom and non-resident clients. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are motivated by delivering exceptional client service.
