Drax-Altus is partnering exclusively with an $9 billion private asset manager known for its outstanding track record in the European alternative credit markets. The firm is launching new investment vehicles and strengthening its fundraising capabilities by hiring a Director-level professional to lead relationship management and capital raising with institutional-quality investors across the UK and the Nordics.

THE ROLE

• Collaborate with the Head of Investor Relations to develop and execute institutional sales strategies in the UK and Nordic markets, driving asset growth and ensuring long-term success.
• Build new networks while leveraging existing relationships with institutional clients.
• Manage the full sales process from prospect identification and qualification through to closing.
• Support brand recognition and business development initiatives within the UK and Nordic institutional market.
• Develop and maintain a strong technical understanding of the firm’s products and strategies, enabling confident and effective discussions with clients and prospects.
• Oversee and mentor a junior team member.
• Research and identify new client and relationship development opportunities.
• Deliver compelling presentations to clients and prospects on the firm’s investments, funds, and strategies.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• A proven track record of raising assets within the UK institutional and/or Nordic markets (experience in both geographies is preferred, but either will be considered).
• A “hunter” profile with the ability to originate and close opportunities through personal credibility and networks, rather than relying solely on the firm’s brand.
• Ideally, experience raising capital for private credit strategies (preferred but not essential). Strong networks and a proven record of success in the target geographies are valued above specific product expertise.
