The Role:
As part of the Corporate Private Credit business at M&G, the Private Credit Origination team originates, executes and manages mid-market investments in the sponsor and non-sponsor backed markets.
As one of the first institutions to enter the corporate direct lending market in 2009, the team has deep experience across a wide variety opportunities including cashflow lending and asset-based lending.
The continuing expansion of the business across Europe, presents a strong opportunity for a credit focussed professional to join the team. The successful candidate will have aspirations to support on Origination activities and develop an additional skillset here.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting all regional Private Credit Origination deal teams across London, Frankfurt and Amsterdam with structuring, execution and closing of Private Corporate Credit transactions on a pan-European basis
- Work closely with senior Originators in the Benelux region(s) to develop a network here and support with relevant networking / loan origination
- Work broadly with the wider Private Corporate Credit business within M&G (encompassing Direct Lending and Leveraged Loans)
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in credit analysis and executing mid-market transactions, likely gained within a commercial bank or other Direct Lending firm.
- Proven credit credentials (credit analysis and financial modelling) bringing credibility to Investment and Credit Committee discussions and especially written credit communications
- Fluency in English and Dutch
- Strong team player
- The successful candidate will likely be Netherlands based (Amsterdam office) but have periodic flexibility to travel to other PCO locations as required
