What role will you play?
You will support the establishment of new Macquarie Asset Management’s Private Credit products globally and support client engagement of existing mandates. To execute on these workstreams there will be extensive liaison with the private credit product specialist team globally and a large variety of internal stakeholders.
The primary focus of this role is to support the rollout of new private credit funds by acting as the liaison between investors, legal and operations. You will integrate feedback from investors to ensure the new private credit products are suitable for the target investor base. Additionally, you will support the relationship managers’ servicing of key investors, including ad hoc information requests, oversight of RFPs, regular client interactions and looking for opportunities to deepen relationships with key strategic clients for private credit.
You will also take responsibility for delivering new Private Credit funds and separate accounts, coordinating investor negotiations of key legal documentation, and owning the New Product Approval process.
What You Offer
- 5+ years’ experience in a related role, supporting Private Credit product structuring and innovation
- A broad knowledge across Private Credit fund / vehicle types and investor preferences
- Excellent communication skills and versatility, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Excellent project management and multi-tasking skills, capable of driving initiatives and ensuring desired outcomes are met
- Ideally holding tertiary qualifications, with CFA charterholders preferred
