How you create impact
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for material flow within the Kuehne+Nagel contract.
- Regularly review and update procedures and process flows to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain and update tracking spreadsheets weekly to monitor project progress for both customer and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze performance data and trends to identify areas for operational improvement.
- Ensure clear and timely communication with the customer, including addressing non-conformities and aligning daily workload planning with customer priorities.
- Oversee compliance and operational standards, including MoD regulations, health and safety policies, and warehouse batch control systems.
- Support staff development and training, monitor training needs, and assist with additional tasks as directed by the operations manager.
What we would like you to bring
- 0–3 years of professional experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
- Experience in customer-facing roles with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting performance data and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets and digital tools for tracking and reporting.
- A minimum of 5 years of continuous residency in the UK is required to comply with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) security clearance process.
