We are looking for a Procurement and Contracts Support Officer to join the Council’s Procurement Team, on a permanent basis.
This is an important role, helping to reduce costs, maintain and improve service quality and support the Council’s journey in ‘delivers high-quality services for our residents’.
As the Procurement and Contracts Support Officer, you will provide administrative services throughout the Procurement Team.
You will be the first point of contact for general procurement queries from both internal and external customers ensuring contact is dealt with in a timely and accurate manner with a proactive and helpful attitude.
You will need to be an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, as the Procurement Team works across many Council services.
Working with the Procurement and Contracts Officers, you will demonstrate an ability and eagerness to learn quickly, adopting a can-do attitude to your work and a desire to progress and develop a future career in Public Sector Procurement.
