Procurement Manager – Utility-Scale Solar & BESS

📍 Location: Glasgow - Hybrid

A leading renewable energy EPC is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and supply chain activities across large-scale solar PV and BESS projects.

This role will take ownership of procurement for key equipment packages including modules, inverters, batteries, transformers, and subcontracted works, managing the full lifecycle from tendering through to delivery. You will work closely with engineering, construction, and finance teams to support successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end procurement for utility-scale solar and BESS projects
Manage supplier selection, RFQs, commercial negotiations, and purchase order execution
Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules using Procore and ERP systems

Negotiate and administer contracts under FIDIC and NEC frameworks

Support supply chain risk management and overall project performance

Candidate Profile

5+ years’ procurement experience within energy, EPC, or infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of solar PV and/or BESS technologies
Hands-on experience with Procore and ERP systems
Proven contract management experience under FIDIC and NEC
Strong negotiation, supplier management, and stakeholder communication skills
