Your role will involve
You will be part of the Technology & Telco Procurement team, working in the UK Procurement team as part of the wider European Procurement function.
As a Procurement Manager reporting to the Technology & Telco Team Category Lead, in a small collaborative team, you will operate independently to drive value for Fujitsu, proactively identifying and delivering tangible savings across our telecommunications and emerging technology categories. You’ll engage in complex negotiations for both framework agreements and customer agreement flowdowns, collaborating closely with Legal & Commercial colleagues to secure robust, compliant contracts.
The role requires supporting bid activities, leading the UK strategy for Telco with support from the Technology & Telco Lead, providing category knowledge and commercial expertise as a business partner, identifying spend consolidation opportunities or new market/supplier opportunities. conducting pre-assessment supplier compliance checks for financial health . You’ll bring strong knowledge of the UK telecommunications market, emerging digital technologies, and relevant regulatory requirements, ensuring all procurement activity aligns with industry standards and business needs.
Your transferable skills and experience:
