Join our team as an IT Sourcer and take a central role in shaping our procurement approach across software, hardware, cloud, and telecommunications. This role can be based in either our Hamburg or London office, both offering collaborative and innovative workspaces in vibrant international hubs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Sourcing Strategies: Create and implement innovative sourcing strategies for IT procurement, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality acquisitions across software, hardware, cloud, and telecommunications.
- Manage Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify new suppliers and cutting-edge sourcing solutions.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal teams to understand and meet their IT requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze procurement performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and optimize processes.
- Reporting and Documentation: Ensure timely and accurate procurement reporting and documentation.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial environment, with a focus on IT procurement, including software, hardware, cloud, and/or telecommunications.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in German is a plus.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, professional services environment.
- Global Mindset: Comfortable working in a global setup with clients in the US and other European countries.
